T-REX
TANK
The
T-Rex
tank is designed to meet contemporary battlefield challenges, while placing a premium on crew safety. The tank can be utilized both in offensive and defensive operations. Among its many features is an advanced Combat Management System—
Checkmate
, that is integrated into a single, secure information network. This system has a force multiplier factor of +4 and provides the crew with exceptional terrain navigational capabilities, coupled with advanced target identification and acquisition resources.
CHECKMATE
INNOVATIVE DESIGN
The
T-Rex tank
represents the next generation of armored military vehicles, inasmuch as its base (the hull, chasis and power train) can be utilized in other types of mobile armored weapons systems.
MOBILITY
T-Rex’s
mass weight is about 39 tons, which allows for the incorporation of a basic 5TD engine with approximately 700 HP. The mobility capabilities of the tank, however, give
T-Rex
a critical advantage on the battlefield.
The
T-Rex
tank employs an advanced navigational control system, which is hydraulic and can be automated. When in electronic control mode, any crew member can assume the function of driver, commander, and/or gunner.
PROTECTION
What is, probably, the most innovative design characteristic of
T-Rex
is the crew capsule. Consistent with the modular design of the tank, the capsule is a separate compartment and isolated from the weapons and ammunition area. The crew is protected within a titanium capsule, which effectively dampens the impact of fires and explosions of fuel and ammunition. In the event that the tank’s hull should be penetrated, the crew has a much greater chance of surviving.
COMMAND & CONTROL
The capsule comes equipped with
CHECKMATE
— a proprietary digital combat management station. It is equipped with a set of integrated capabilities to attack or defend, to fire from various weapons systems, to maneuver, while taking advantage of an array of information that is displayed on various monitors.
When deployed in conjunction with other combat elements that are also integrated into the same Battle Management System, the
T-Rex
tank is a formidable combat instrument.
CHECKMATE
T-Rex
also comes equipped with modern laser detection sensors, which provide an added element of forward and rear control. These sensors are capable of identifying hostile rangefinders and laser targeting equipment. The relevant information is displayed on one of the overhead monitors.
FIREPOWER
T-Rex
is as powerful as its namesake. The tank can be equipped with a total of 37 ordinance shells for a 125 mm gun. The turret itself is modular and, therefore, can be modified for almost any fire delivery system, including STANAG-compatible guns. The turret configuration is minimalist in design. It’s sleek, sweeping lines are constructed with a view towards further enhancing the protective shell of the vehicle’s armor.
SURVEILLANCE AND RECONNAISSANCE
In modern-day warfare, long-range surveillance and reconnaissance in all-weather conditions, day or night, is an essential requirement for almost any armored military vehicle.
T-Rex
is more than up to the challenge.
Arey
offers two proprietary and inter-related visual surveillance systems that, coupled our in-house designed Combat Management System—
CHECKMATE
, give the tank commander a decisive advantage over his adversary.
