HYBRID PLATFORM
RYSAK
Rysak
is a hybrid tracked platform that was designed and is presently being developed by
Arey
with a view towards constructing a fundamentally new, next-generation infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). Specifically,
Rysak
is designed with a high degree of armor protection and can be utilized as a base platform for placement of various modular weapons systems or for constructing specialized military vehicles. Moreover, despite its enhanced armor protection,
Rysak
is amphibious and can be quickly re-located and deployed by air.
PROTECTION
Rysak’s
high degree of protection is achieved by utilizing a novel approach to composite steel-plated armor. Also, the modular construction of the vehicle’s hull, coupled with spaced armor and an additional anti-mine hull, further strengthen
Rysak’s
protective shield.
CHARACTERISTICS
The power plant of the vehicle consists of two diesel generators installed on the skirt shelf in the rear area, together with independent cooling systems. The total power that can be generated is 300 kW.
The manner in which the power plant is built and installed allows for efficient use of internal space to accommodate both equipment and an assault team of 12 soldiers. The stern section of the vehicles is equipped with a ramp door, allowing for quick and efficient egress.
The vehicle is equipped with rubberized tracks, providing for higher speed and quieter mobility.
